Bloodhound Static

The Bloodhound Static System enables our clients to monitor and report in real-time the 24/7 presence of their personnel in a static and specific area.

This system can be used as a standalone solution or be integrated as a 3rd party interface.

The Bloodhound Static system consists of two essential components; the Bloodhound Static Reader (information receiver) as well as the Bloodhound Active Identification Cards (information transmitter).

1. Bloodhound Static Reader (Receiver)

The Bloodhound Static Reader is installed at the centre of the area to be monitored as a base station and it is imbedded with an active Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) component.
The base station receives and decodes all the data transmitted from the RFID tags within the surrounding environment.

2. Bloodhound Active Identification Cards (Transmitter)

This RFID tag is a small electronic device (credit card size) that can be carried by a person. The tag includes a chip, which stores identification and an antenna that enables information to be transmitted to a reader. An active RFID tag includes a battery and transmits information at pre-programmed intervals, as well as an onboard movement sensor, which enables to transmit a unique message when the tag is in motion.

3. GSM Modem (Optional)

The GSM modem is an add-on component that provides the Bloodhound Static Reader "base station” the ability to transmit and receive data in real-time. The modem will make use of local GSM network (cell phone network) to communicate with the Bloodhound central servers.
